Passionate About
Helping Others Achieve Success
I am a multi-passionate entrepreneur who loves problem-solving! All of my entrepreneurial activities are driven by my desire to make a difference and help others design their futures and succeed at reaching their goals. With an eye for detail and what's possible, I anticipate obstacles and enjoy collaborating with others to create impactful solutions to challenges.
I began my career in 2005 after completing undergraduate studies at Howard University. Since then, I've built a diverse portfolio of public health and research experiences by working in academia, government, and private industry.
After joining private industry in 2018, continued curiosity about the business world led me to pursue my MBA. That learning experience helped me become more comfortable with the idea of becoming an entrepreneur and bringing my dreams (some of them 10 years in the making!) of launching a business to help others and becoming a career coach to reality.
In 2020, armed with new knowledge from the MBA program and a clear understanding of my purpose, I founded and became Chief Discovery Officer of Discover The Remarkable You LLC, my coaching practice and professional services business. I also partnered with Dr. Nanlesta Pilgrim to launch Taking It Pro LLC, a career and professional development services firm for women of color.
I live in the Richmond, VA area with my husband and dog. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, cooking, listening to audiobooks, and sipping on a good glass of wine.
